Taliea Creative provides professional editorial and author copywriting services, including but not limited to proofreading, line editing, developmental editing, author bios, book descriptions, and author website copy. All services are performed as agreed upon in writing prior to project commencement.

The scope of work will be defined in a written agreement, invoice, or proposal prior to project initiation. Any additional work outside of the agreed scope may incur additional fees. The Client agrees to submit a complete manuscript or project materials before work begins.

A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to secure a project slot. The remaining balance is due upon completion and prior to final file delivery. Payments must be made via approved payment methods as specified in the invoice.

Estimated timelines are provided at booking and depend on manuscript length, complexity, and current workload. Taliea Creative is not responsible for delays caused by late client communication or incomplete submissions.

Unless otherwise stated in writing, one round of minor revisions may be included for copywriting projects. Editing services include tracked changes and comments but do not include unlimited rewrites. Additional revisions beyond the agreed scope may be billed at an hourly rate.

The Client affirms that the submitted manuscript is their original work and that they hold the rights to all submitted materials. The manuscript should be in its final draft stage prior to proofreading. Taliea Creative does not provide ghostwriting or full manuscript rewrites unless explicitly agreed upon.

Taliea Creative provides professional editorial services but does not guarantee publication, agent representation, book sales, reviews, or commercial success. Editorial feedback is professional opinion intended to strengthen the manuscript.

All manuscripts and project materials are treated as confidential. Taliea Creative will not share or distribute client content without written permission.

The Client retains full copyright ownership of their manuscript and materials at all times. Taliea Creative retains the right to reference the project in portfolio materials unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Taliea Creative shall not be liable for any indirect or consequential damages, publishing outcomes, loss of profits, or third-party claims arising from the content of the manuscript. Total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for services.

If the Client cancels after work has begun, the deposit is non-refundable and the Client is responsible for payment of work completed up to the cancellation date. Taliea Creative reserves the right to cancel a project due to unforeseen circumstances, in which case a prorated refund may be issued.
